Compositions of thrombopoietin, methods of reducing adsorption of thrombopoietin to a surface, and methods of stabilizing a composition of thrombopoietin are disclosed. The compositions comprise, in addition to thrombopoietin, a physiologically acceptable buffer, a surface adsorption inhibitor selected from the group consisting of non-ionic surfactants and polyols, and an isotonic amount of a physiologically acceptable salt.

L'invention concerne des compositions à base de thrombopoïétine, des procédés pour réduire l'adsorption de la thrombopoïétine par une surface et des procédés pour stabiliser une composition à base de thrombopoïétine. Outre la thrombopoïétine, ces compositions contiennent un tampon physiologiquement acceptable, un inhibiteur de l'adsorption superficielle sélectionné dans le groupe constitué des agents tensioactifs non ioniques et des polyols, et une quantité isotonique d'un sel physiologiquement acceptable.
