ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A device for regulating the flow or outflow of liquids comprises an outer encasing tube, having a feed tube connected to an inlet and in which a cylindrical hose coupling is disposed, which is tightly connected to an outlet. The liquid acts indirectly from the outside on the hose coupling via a gas cushion, so that a pressure difference occurs within the hose coupling, which leads to a bulging, and consequently, a cross- sectional reduction of the hose coupling. The complete arrangement is arranged on the dry side of a container wall.
