A micropore drying apparatus (10) having a variable wet flow resistance. The flow resistance preferably decreases in the machine direction. The micropore drying apparatus may comprise a single integral unit having a decreasing wet flow resistance from the beginning to the end of the unit. Alternatively, the micropore drying apparatus may comprise a plurality of discrete units, each unit having a successively lesser flow resistance than that of the preceding unit. The micropore drying apparatus may comprise one or more micropore drying media (15). The micropore drying media have pores (40) which allow air flow therethrough. The pores (40) are disposed in a grid, to form a field of pores (40). The decreasing flow resistance may preferably be provided by adjusting one or more of said pores (40), which affect the flow resistance through a single pore (40) or through the entire field of the pores (40).
La présente invention concerne un appareil de séchage à micropores (10) présentant une résistance variable à l'écoulement humide. La résistance à l'écoulement diminue dans le sens machine. L'appareil de séchage à micropores peut comprendre une unité intégrale unique présentant une résistance à l'écoulement humide depuis le début jusqu'à la fin de l'unité. En variante, l'appareil de séchage à micropores peut comprendre une pluralité d'unités distinctes, chaque unité présentant en succession une résistance à l'écoulement inférieure à celle de l'unité précédente. Dans un autre mode de réalisation, on peut utiliser un agencement hybride dans lequel chaque unité distincte présente successivement un résistance décroissante à l'écoulement humide au sein de ladite unité. L'appareil de séchage à micropores peut comprendre un ou des milieux de séchage à micropores (15). Les milieux de séchage à micropores présentent des pores (40) permettant l'écoulement de l'air traversant. Les pores (40) sont disposés en un réseau, pour former un champ de pores (40). La résistance à l'écoulement peut, de préférence, être réalisée par le réglage d'un ou de plusieurs desdits pores (40), qui modifient la résistance à l'écoulement à travers un seul pore (40) ou à travers le champ entier de pores (40).
