In a Seawater Pumping Array Powered by Tidal Currents this invention consists of a barge or barges which float on the surface of the water with any number of individual paddlewheels attached to offset crankshafts attached to piston pumps, set in the barge in a manner so as to take full advantage of tidal currents. The variability of the offsets of the crankshafts and diameters of the piston pumps would enable it to be flexible to a large variety of elevations. A complete pumping system will consist of an array of any number of pumping barges, enclosed in a protective boom and delivering seawater through flexible hoses and one-way valves into a manifold onshore, then through a one-way valve uphill to a reservoir. The barge itself may be modular so that different capacities may be assembled easily.
