The present invention relates to a necktie clip adapted for securing a necktie to a wearer's shirt front. The invention is designed to be used in conjunction with the "name brand" tie loop commonly found on the rear surface of one of the tie ends. Whereby the tie clip is not visible from the front of the wearer but will keep the necktie in a neat and orderly state at all times. When the necktie includes a tie loop label or such that allows the small back portion of the tie to pass therethrough for securing the two portions together. The necktie holder is attached to the back surface thereof, and then to the shirt front material by means of a gripping motion by both the horizontal leg and the vertical leg of the tie clip.
