(5127) TIE LAYER FOR CO-EXTRUDED ACRYLONITRILE COPOLYMERS Abstract of the Disclosure A mixture of a halogenated polyolefin, such as a chlorinated polyethylene, a polyolefin, such as polyethylene, a nitrile barrier resin, such as a nitrile rubber-modified acrylonitrile-methyl acrylate copolymer, and optionally a polyurethane, is used as a tie layer to bind together a co-extruded laminated sheet of a polyolefin and a nitrile barrier resin. Sheets of these materials are useful for many purposes such as packaging due to their excellent gas barrier properties.
