A bridge pier (4), two bridge girders (2) and two supporting rods (3) are produced in an approximately vertical position. The supporting rods (3) are connected to the top of the pier (4) and to the bridge girders (2). By raising the bridge girders (2) by their end points (9) which are adjacent to the pier (4), the bridge girders (2) are brought into the horizontal end position. Finally, the end points (9) of the bridge girders (2) are connected to the pier (4).
