A light-weight, portable, self-contained concrete form (11) for fabricating tilt-up concrete walls including a frame made up from metal frame members (12- 16) joined at their ends and having a channel shape with the channels facing inwardly. A reinforcing mat (17) including an array of crisscrossed rebars (18) disposed within the frame (12-16) and held in place by brackets (21) positioned and welded at the ends thereof. The frame may be shipped to the job- site, laid on a casting surface, and filled with concrete. When the concrete cures, the resulting concrete wall, form (11) and all, is tilted-up into place with a crane and attached to form a section of a concrete wall.

L'invention concerne un coffrage léger, portatif, autonome (11) destiné à fabriquer des parois en béton relevable comprenant un cadre fabriqué à partir d'éléments à ossature métallique (12-16) reliés au niveau de leurs extrémités et possédant la forme d'un canal, les canaux regardant vers l'intérieur. Un treillis d'armature (17) comprenant un réseau de barres d'armature entrelacées (18) disposé à l'intérieur du cadre (12-16) est maintenu en place par des équerres (21) placées et soudées aux extrémités de celles-ci. Le cadre peut être transporté jusqu'au site de travail, déposé sur une surface de logement, et rempli de béton. Lorsque le béton sèche, la paroi en béton obtenue : le coffrage (11) et le tout, est placée verticalement au moyen d'une grue, puis fixée en vue de former une section de paroi en béton.
