ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE: A tiltable converter vessel is supported on a carrying body arranged about its shell by means of lug pairs accommo- dating bearing forces, the lugs of each lug pair being ar- ranged opposite each other on both sides of the carrying body. At least one lug of each lug pair is supported on the carrying body by at least one piston-cylinder unit whose piston is hydraulically adjustable in the longitudinal direction of the converter vessel. At least one further piston-cylinder unit is arranged parallel to the extension of the carrying ring.
