A B S T R A C T A timber connecter is disclosed comprising a pair of spikes disposed at the ends of a stem portion. The spikes are disposed in planes perpendicular to one another such that the connecter may be used for interconnecting respective faces of adjacent timber members which are perpendicular to one another. The spikes form acute angles with the portions of the stem adjacent thereto such that they may be conveniently driven into timber members, and the secondary spike tapers away from the axis of the primary spike towards its outer end whereby the timber members are drawn together during rotation of the stem portion about the driven primary spike as the secondary spike is driven home.
