( ) Abstract An invention relates to a timber crane (1) which consist of a pillar (2) in the upper end of said pillar is connected with a joint (12) a lift boom (11) lifted by a pressure cylinder (13) and in the end of said lift boom is further fastened with joint (7) a boom (3) consist- ing of telescopical extension parts (3a,3b). A pressure cylinder (14) turns said boom around the joint (7). In the outer one (3b) of said extension parts is fastened a device for lifting or loading timber and with pressure medium driven motor (6) for reeling a pull member (4) on a reel (5) said pull member fastened at least to one of the extension parts (3a,3b). The pull member (4) is adapted only to pull inside the extension parts (3a,3b) and the pulling out of said parts are carried out by gravity when tilting at least the telescopical boom downwards.
