ABSTRACT There is provided an automatic time adjustment system for the setting of digital clocks according to a signal broadcast on a public audio band, the system including an audio receiver with processing means operatively coupled thereto for decoding the broadcast signal and for sending a second signal to a sound emitting device to generate a plurality of tones, the tones being emitted to a microphone associated with a digital clock, and a sound decoder circuit responsive to the tones to set the digital clock. Thus, a T.V. or radio in the house could automatically update all the clocks and watches on a regular basis.
