Abstract of the Disclosure The dryer drum in laundry clothes dryers is operated in several forward and reverse rotation directions on a time automatic cycled basis. By doing this, the work period and energy required to dry a given load of clothes in any particular dryer can be substantially reduced, i.e. typically by at least thirty percent and higher.
