A time-controlled safety outlet includes a housing having a number of electrical outlets connected to and controlled by a timer. The timer is adjustable in predetermined increments to control the amount of time power is available to the outlets to provide an improved and simplified device for controlling the amount of time an electrical device plugged into an outlet may remain on. The timer includes an on/off button, a switch for activating the predetermined time increments and a light to indicate if power is available to the outlets in the housing.
