A portable timing and alarm apparatus, also called timer, enclosed in or dimensioned and adapted to fit snugly on a strap of a watch, for alerting a person that a pre-set interval of time for observing a pre-arranged response has expired, the time of expiry of a parking meter, for example. A warning signal alerts a wearer of the apparatus that the time interval has expired. The apparatus is comfortably carried around on the wearer's wrist and the length of the time interval is directly adjustable by use of switches.
