TIMER DRIVE MECHANISM ABSTRACT A drive mechanism for a timer includes a drive paw having a pin which is trapped between two camming surfaces of a continuously driven drive cam. The drive paw is slidably mounted in the timer frame so that it is linearly reciprocated when the drive cam is rotated. A spring biases the drive paw against the ratchet track.
