TIMER FOR THE TRAVELLING TIME OF A CURLING ROCK ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A curling broom has a timer attached to the handle of the broom by a simple strap which positions the timer body on top of the handle for actuation of a press button facing upwardly to start and stop the timing action. A simple two digit display provides an indication of the time in seconds for travel of the rock between the hoglines. The band attaching the timer is arranged so as provide an effective frictional action clamped around the cylindrical portion of the handle at a required position thereon for actuation by the hands of the user while sweeping.
