This invention pertains to a ceramic material that can be used in electrodes forlithium ion secondary batteries. The ceramic material contains Sn, Si, O, and C that contains at least 1 volume% metal-phase Sn wherein the weight ratios among theseelements in the ceramic material is Sn 1: Si 0.001 to 100: O 0.001 to 100: C 0.001 to 100. This metallic tin is formed by thermal reduction by carbon.

La présente invention porte sur une matière céramique qui peut servir dans des électrodes pour accumulateurs aux ions de lithium. La matière céramique contient Sn, Si, O et C qui contient au moins 1 % en volume de Sn en phase métallique, les proportions pondérales des éléments de la matière céramique étant Sn 1: Si 0,001 à 100: O 0,001 à 100: C 0,001 à 100. Cet étain métal est formé par réduction thermique au carbone.
