The invention relates to a tip-forming element (10) comprising an axisymmetric surface (11a) which can be disposed in the extension of the wetted surface (31a) of the top (3) or the hub of a hydraulic machine wheel and which converges as it extends away from the wetted surface (31) in the direction of the axis of rotation (X - X') of the wheel (1) when the element is attached to the wheel (1). The inventive element (10) also comprises a second axisymmetric surface (13a) which is offset axially in relation to the first axisymmetric surface (11a) and which diverges as it extends away from the first convergent surface (11a).
Cet organe (10) est pourvu d'une surface axisymétrique (11a) apte à être disposée dans le prolongement de la surface mouillée (31a) du plafond (3) ou du moyeu d'une roue de machine hydraulique et convergente, en s'éloignant de cette surface mouillée (31) et en direction de l'axe de rotation (X-X') de la roue (1) lorsque l'organe est rapporté sur la roue (1). Cet organe (10) est également pourvu d'une seconde surface axisymtrique (13a) décalée axialement par rapport à la première surface convergente (11a), cette seconde surface (13a) étant divergente en s'éloignant de la première surface convergente (11a).
