ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A method and apparatus for aligning wheels and mounted tires in an orientation to improve the balance and roundness of the inflated wheel and tire assembly. The apparatus rotates the wheel and mounted tire until one of them is in the desired orientation and then holds that one element in the desired orientation. The other element is then rotated until it reaches the desired orientation. The assembly is then ready to he inflated.
