The invention relates to a rubber tire having a tread composed of (i) a tread designed to be road-contacting and composed of a relatively high electrical resistance rubber composition, (ii) peripheral, lateral extensions of said tread as wings composed of a relatively low electrical resistance rubber composition and (iii) a thin strip, which might sometimes be referred to as a tread strip or gum strip, of relatively low electrical resistance rubber composition positioned on a portion of the face of the tread and extending into the interface between said tread and said tread wings. In one aspect, the invention relates to such rubber tire where said tread is quantitatively reinforced with silica.
La présente invention vise un pneumatique en caoutchouc à bande de roulement (i) conçue pour assurer le contact avec le sol et faite d'une composition de caoutchouc présentant une résistance électrique relativement élevée, (ii) comportant des ailes latérales périphériques faites d'une composition de caoutchouc présentant une résistance électrique relativement faible (iii) ainsi qu'une bande mince en caoutchouc à faible résistance électrique, posée sur une portion de la surface de la bande de roulement et se prolongeant jusqu'à l'interface entre la bande et les ailes. L'invention porte, entre autres, sur le renfort de silice d'une telle bande de roulement en caoutchouc.
