A tire pressure management system for a vehicle is provided. The system includes an air source and a pressure control valve disposed between the air source and the tires of the vehicle. The system further includes pressure sensing circuits that transmit radio-frequency signals indicative of pressure within the tires of the vehicle and one or more load sensors that transmit load indicative signals indicative of the load on the vehicle or a portion of the vehicle. Finally, the system includes an electronic control unit that controls the pressure control valve responsive to the radio-frequency signals and/or the load indicative signals to thereby control pressure within the vehicle tires.
