ABSTRACT A device for preventing displacement of a tire retaining ring during inflation of a tire. One embodiment the device consists of a fixed arm and three extendible arms. The arms are fixed together and lie in a plane at right angles to one another. The extendible arms consist of an elongated tubular member and an elongated threaded reciprocable member which are telescopingly mounted together for axial movement of the reciprocable member through rotation of a threaded member. Each of the arms has a tire retaining ring engaging member situated at the outer end thereof to firmly clamp the ring to the wheel during inflation of the tire.
