A tissue acquisition system (100) includes radio frequency cutter loops (138) which are extendable out a cannula (116) to cut cylindrical tissue samples from a tissue of interest in a patient. The cannula includes inner and outer cannulae (116, 152) which are mutually rotatable and include cutouts (124) through which the cutting loop (138) can be rotated, and longitudinally extended to perform the cuts. The tissue samples are then aspirated proximally through the cannula for collection.

La présente invention concerne un système de prélèvement de tissus (100) comprenant des boucles de coupe à haute fréquence (HF) (138) déployables à l'extérieur d'un cathéter (116) et conçues pour découper des échantillons cylindriques de tissus à analyser dans le corps d'un patient. Ledit cathéter comprend des cathéters interne et externe (116,152) qui peuvent tourner l'un par rapport à l'autre, et qui présentent des découpes (124) dans lesquelles la boucle de coupe (138) peut tourner et se déployer longitudinalement pour découper les prélèvements.
