A tissue positioning device comprising a biocompatible member having a size and shape suitable for placement within a space adjacent to a tissue to be positioned and which acts to maintain the tissue in a desired position. The member may be a rigid or flexible spacer having a defined shape, or a bladder capable of receiving and being at least partially expanded by a filler material. The device can made from a variety of materials or a composite of materials as needed, and may include one or more attachment means by which it can be secured to nearby tissues such that it is maintained in a desired spatial location. The filler material can be any of a number of substances, including liquids, gases, a curable liquid such as bone cement or urethane foam, or a spring.
La présente invention concerne un dispositif de positionnement de tissu comprenant un membre biocompatible. Ledit membre présente une taille et une forme adaptées permettant de placer le dispositif dans un espace adjacent à un tissu devant être positionné, et agit de manière à maintenir le tissu dans une position désirée. Le membre peut être une entretoise rigide ou souple qui présente une forme définie, ou une vessie capable de recevoir un matériau de remplissage ou d'être au moins partiellement allongée par ledit matériau. Le dispositif peut être constitué d'une variété de matériaux ou d'un composite de matériaux, en fonction des besoins. En outre, ledit dispositif peut inclure un ou plusieurs moyens de fixation permettant de le fixer aux tissus voisins, de telle sorte qu'il se trouve maintenu dans un emplacement spatial désiré. Le matériau de remplissage peut être n'importe quel matériau parmi un certain nombre de substances, y compris des liquides, des gaz, un liquide durcissable tel qu'un ciment osseux ou de la mousse d'uréthane, ou un ressort.
