Described herein is a photocatalytic composite comprising a titanium dioxide supported on metakaolin. In compar-ison to known embodiments of the sector, the composite of the present invention makes it possible to obtain binders and derived products with high photocatalytic efficiency, even when using photocatalyst quantities which are lesser than those present in products of prior technical art.

L'invention porte sur un composite photocatalytique comprenant un dioxyde de titane supporté sur du métakaolin. En comparaison avec des modes de réalisation connus du domaine, le composite de la présente invention permet d'obtenir des liants et des produits dérivés avec un rendement photocatalytique élevé, même lors de l'utilisation de quantités de photocatalyseur qui sont inférieures à celles présentes dans les produits de la technique antérieure.
