TNF binding polypeptides based on human tetranectin C-type lectin like domains (CTLD) with improved binding characteristics and improved efficacy. The polypeptides comprise a TNF binding domain having the amino acid sequence KRWSRYF (SEQ ID NO:1). Also provided are methods of preparing the polypeptides of the invention. The polypeptides may be used for the preparation of pharmaceutical compositions, and for treatment of a subject having a pathology mediated by TNF, such as treatment of rheumatoid arthritis.
La présente invention a pour objet des polypeptides se liant au TNF basés sur les domaines de reconnaissance de lectine de type C (CTLD) de la tétranectine humaine. Lesdits polypeptides présentent des caractéristiques de liaison et d'efficacité améliorées. Lesdits polypeptides comprennent un domaine liant le TNF dont la séquence d'acides aminés est KRWSRYF (SEQ ID NO:1). La présente invention a également pour objet des méthodes d'élaboration desdits polypeptides. Lesdits polypeptides peuvent être employés dans la mise au point de préparations pharmaceutiques, et dans le traitement d~un sujet atteint d~une pathologie due au TNF, tel que le traitement de la polyarthrite rhumatoïde.
