- The invention concerns a toaster including a mobile bread carriage (1) between a toasting position A, a heat maintaining position B, a rest position C, and a complementary raised position D, and controls to select one of the A, B or C positions. The carriage is connected to a spring to ensure that it returns to its raised position. The invention controls allow the user to regulate the upward movement of the carriage (1) and to hold it in one of the B, C or D positions.
