A deodorant composition for the odor of tobacco which comprises at least two of the following five groups of ingredients: (I) octanal, nonanal, and/or decanal; (II) linalool; (III) carvone; (IV) methyl anthranilate and/or methyl N-methylanthranilate; and (V) sinensal and/or a sinensal fraction of an orange- peel essential oil.
