ABSTRACT OF THE INVENTION A cigarette holder is disclosed which contains a filtering element in a cavity within the barrel of the holder. The filter element is provided with a flange that extends from the element and divides the cavity into an upstream filtering chamber and a downstream stor- age and filter chamber.
