ABSTRACT It is an object of the invention to provide a simple economic packaging device that can be easily applied to articles to be packaged to bond them for conventional transport. A paperboard container according to this invention comprises a blank having a plurality of substantially parallel fold lines. The said fold lines include a pair of end fold lines positioned one adjacent each end of the blank; the said end fold lines are spaced from the ends by unequal distances, and the said fold lines include further fold lines between said end fold lines to enable the blank, in use, to be folded to a closed cross section and to enable parts of the blank between the said end fold lines and the end to be engaged one to the other.
