A toilet has a toilet bowl and a tank detached from each other. The tank defines a water cavity on an upper portion thereof. An operating element is provided above the water cavity. A flushing pipe communicates between the water cavity and the toilet bowl. A storing chamber is provided below the water cavity. The toilet provides an article holding structure thereby raising the utility thereof, and moreover, is ergonomic to enable the user take articles easily and comfortably while defecating.
