A toilet includes a toilet bowl assembly having a toilet bowl and a trapway extending from the bottom of the toilet bowl to a sewage line. The toilet bowl has a rim channel provided along an upper perimeter portion thereof. In this toilet, the flush water flows through the rim channel in a path which is asymmetric and unidirectional along the entire perimeter portion thereof. The rim channel includes a plurality of rim openings distributed evenly along the perimeter of the rim channel. Flush water passing through the plurality of rim openings pre-wets the entire perimeter of the toilet bowl. The rim channel further includes a pair of water discharge slots which directs water directly into the toilet bowl in two powerful streams. The flush valve allowing passage of water from the water tank to the toilet bowl assembly is in the form of a valve inlet having a radiused port to generate greater energy throughput of the flush water.
L'invention concerne un W.-C. comprenant une cuvette de W.-C. et un siphon s'étendant entre le fond de la cuvette et une conduite d'égout. La cuvette comprend sur son bord un canal formé dans le rebord, longeant une partie du périmètre de la cuvette dans la partie supérieure de celle-ci. L'eau de rinçage s'écoule à travers ce canal en suivant une trajectoire asymétrique et unidirectionnelle sur tout le périmètre de la cuvette. Ce canal comprend une pluralité d'ouvertures formées dans le rebord, réparties régulièrement le long du périmètre couvert par le canal. L'eau de rinçage passant à travers cette pluralité d'ouvertures dans la bordure préhumidifie tout le périmètre de la cuvette de W.-C. Le canal du rebord comprend en outre deux fentes de sortie d'eau qui dirigent l'eau directement dans la cuvette en formant deux jets puissants. La soupape de la chasse qui permet à l'eau de passer du réservoir d'eau dans la cuvette de W.-C. présente une entrée d'eau formant une ouverture arrondie afin d'augmenter la puissance du débit de l'eau de rinçage.
