A handle for permanent attachment to a toilet lid, and a handle for permanent attachment to a toilet seat. When using the handles, a person does not need to have direct hand contact to the toilet lid or toilet seat. The handles can be used separately from each other, or together as one unit. Each handle has a portion that extends outwards and provides attachment to the desired surface. Each extended portion has an adhesive type material on its upper surface. Because each handle is attached separately, the toilet lid and toilet seat can be maneuvered separately from each other. And because the handles are attached close beside each other, it is also possible to manuever the toilet lid and toilet seat at the same time. Each handle is contoured to fit snugly beside the other handle, so that the two handles may appear to be one device. And the handles are designed to lie as near as possible to the toilet lid and toilet seat, to avoid unduly detracting from the decor of the washroom facilities.
