A toilet seat cover adapted to fit over a generally U- shaped split seat toilet having a pair of side portions extending from a rear portion with a space between the pair of side portions at the front of the split seat toilet, comprising a pair of bag members for encapsulating respective ones of the side portions of the split seat toilet; a rear end cross piece member intermediate the pair of bag members for covering the rear portion of the split seat toilet; a pair of handle portions forming an extension of the bag portions adjacent the rear end cross piece for facilitating pulling the pair of bag members over the side portions; and a front cross piece member intermediate the pair of bag members for covering the space between the pair of side portions at the front of the split seat toilet.
