-10- TOILET SEAT LOCATING AND AUTO-RETURN DEVICE ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A toilet seat positioning and auto-return device is disclosed including a bracket pivotally mounted on an axle housing fastened to a toilet and controlled by a return spring and a ratchet wheel to hold a toilet seat in a vertical position in opening the bowl of a toilet, a press- control locking device controlled to lock the bracket in a horizontal position for permitting the toilet seat to be retained covered on the bowl of the toilet.
