The present invention provides toner compositions comprised of resin particles, pigment particles, and certain quaternary ammonium sulfate charge enhancing additives. More specifically, the present invention is directed to toner compositions comprised of resin, pigment, or dye, and bis-(distearyldimethylammonium) sulfate. The aforementioned charge additives can be incorporated into the toner or may be present on the toner surface. Advantages of rapid admix, appropriate triboelectric characteristics, and the like are achieved with many of the toners of the present invention.
La présente invention porte sur des toners composés de particules de résine, de particules de pigments et de certains additifs d'amplification de la charge à base de sulfate d'ammonium quaternaire. Elle concerne plus particulièrement des toners constitués de particules de résine, de pigments ou de colorants, et de sulfate de bis-distéaryldiméthylammonium. Les additifs de charge susmentionnés sont incorporés dans le toner ou sont présents à la surface de ce dernier. Un grand nombre des toners de la présente invention présentent l'avantage de se mélanger rapidement, celui de posséder les caractéristiques triboélectriques voulues, et d'autres avantages du même genre.
