ABSTRACT This invention is generally directed to toner compositions comprised of a magnetic material and a resin characterized in that it is comprised of a product resulting from polymeric esterification of 1,4benzene-dicarboxylic acid poymerized with 1,2,4benzenetricarboxylic acid - cyclic 1,2-anhydride and 2,2-dimethyl-1,3-propane diol. The magnetic material can act as both the colorant and magnetic substance, or an additional colorant such as carbon black can be utilized. The toners of the present invention in one preferred embodiment are useful for developing magnetic images.
