The invention relates to a tool coupling for connecting a tool carrier which can be driven in a rotating manner, in particular a milling tool with a machine spindle or an adapter connected to a spindle, wherein four drivers in a crosswise formation are provided for transmitting torque between the said parts and in the clamping state engage in four recesses. To allow the tool coupling to be easily operated and to be of a simple construction, and also to counteract undesired jamming, it is proposed that the drivers respectively have on the side transmitting the torque a planar face which lies with full surface-area contact against a wall of a groove-shaped recess in the clamping state, that on the opposite side the driver has a smaller positively or frictionally engaging contact with the wall there of the groove-shaped recess and that a quick-acting clamping device is provided for the axial clamping of the tool carrier and the spindle or an adapter.
L'invention concerne un accouplement d'outil destiné à coupler un porte-outil pouvant être entraîné en rotation, notamment pour un outil de fraisage, à une broche de machine ou à un adaptateur relié à une broche. Pour la transmission de couple entre ces éléments, quatre éléments d'entraînement disposés en croix s'engagent, à l'état serré, dans quatre évidements. Selon l'invention, afin de pouvoir manAEuvrer aisément l'accouplement d'outil, de lui conférer une structure simple et d'éviter un coincement indésirable, les éléments d'entraînement présentent chacun, sur le côté transmettant le couple, une face plane qui, à l'état serré, s'applique intégralement contre une paroi d'un évidement en forme de rainure; sur le côté opposé, l'élément d'entraînement s'applique contre la paroi correspondante de l'évidement en forme de rainure sur une plus petite surface, par complémentarité de forme ou par friction; et un dispositif à serrage rapide est prévu pour assembler axialement par serrage le porte-outil et la broche ou un adaptateur.
