Tool for connecting one fibre end-to-end to another or to an optical connector via a module comprised of a receiver housing into which fibres can be inserted at at least one end and means of attaching the fibre(s), by jamming at the bottom of the housing, by insertion. The tool comprises means (14, 14', 15, 16) for successively and eventually simultaneously for two fibres, a partial stripping of each fibre, end cleavage for end-to-end connection, positioning of each cleaved fibre in the module where it is connected, and crimping of each fibre in position for connection in the module, in a cycle controlled by the continuous rotation of a rotary control shaft (13) of the tool, after manual placement of each fibre and of the module in specific positions on the tool.

Outil pour le raccordement en bout d'une fibre à une autre fibre ou à un élément de connectique optique par l'intermédiaire d'un module qui comporte un boîtier récepteur permettant une introduction de fibre à au moins une extrémité et des moyens de fixation de fibre(s), par coincement en fond de boîtier, mis en oeuvre par enfoncement. L'outil comporte des moyens (14, 14', 15, 16) permettant de réaliser successivement et éventuellement de manière simultanée pour deux fibres, un dénudage partiel de chaque fibre, un clivage d'extrémité pour raccordement en bout, un positionnement de chaque fibre clivée dans le module où elle se raccorde, et un sertissage de chaque fibre en position de raccordement dans le module, en un cycle commandé par rotation continue d'un arbre de commande rotatif (13) de l'outil, après mise en place manuelle de chaque fibre et du module en des positions déterminées sur l'outil.
