The invention concerns a tool for gripping and clamping the edge (R) of a heavy hollow object such as a flower pot for example. The invention is characterised in that it comprises an elongated supporting arm (1) whereof one end part (1c) is curved downwards in the form of a hook and constitutes a first jaw of the clamp and an element (2) mounted sliding on the supporting arm (1) extending downwards, constituting a second jaw of the clamp such that in clamping position, the end of the first clamp jaw (1c) and the lower end part of the second clamp jaw (2f) are respectively in contact with the substantially opposite points (A, B), located respectively on the inner and outer surfaces of the edge (R) of the object.

L'invention concerne un outil de préhension et de serrage de la bordure (R) d'un objet creux lourd tel qu'un pot de fleurs par exemple, remarquable en ce qu'il comprend un bras porteur allongé (1) dont une partie extrême (1c) est recourbée vers le bas en forme de crochet et constitue une première mâchoire de pince et un élément (2) monté coulissant sur le bras porteur (1) s'étendant vers le bas, en regard de la partie en forme de crochet (1c) de la première mâchoire, constituant une deuxième mâchoire de pince de telle façon qu'en position de serrage, l'extrémité de la première mâchoire de pince (1c) et la partie extrême inférieure de la deuxième mâchoire de pince (2f) soient respectivement en contact avec des points (A, B) sensiblement opposés, situés respectivement sur les surfaces interne et externe de la bordure (R) de l'objet.
