ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A tool for clampingly receiving a holding device for side boards being installed in an ingot mold comprises a fixed jaw on the end of a handle with a hinged jaw secured thereto and having a configuration engaging the device being installed so that the device can be held and installed thereby. This invention distinguishes from other inventions by reason of the formation of the fixed and movable jaws with flat opposed faces in spaced parallel position and the incorpora- tion of configuration thereon engaging a device to be held thereby, the configura- tions comprising a raised member on the fixed jaw together with a pair of spacedparallel ribs. -2-
