A B S T R A C T O F T H E D I S C L O S U R E This invention relates to a tool for moving a long flexible wire through hollow passages of different kinds. Such tools may be used in connection with the drawing of electric cables in conduits, but also in connection with cleaning or other treatment of conduits having so small dimensions that they are not accessible in another way than by such a wire. The tool comprises two tubes being telescopically movable in relation to each other in order to feed the leading wire. The improvement according to the invention consists in a retaining mechanism designed in such a manner that the tool is capable of feeding the leading wire into as well as out of conduits or the like.
