ABSTRACT There is provided a new and useful tool for preparing tube or pipe ends for welding. The tool provides a central shaft, chamfering blade support means affixed to and coaxial with the central shaft and including a recess for receiving drive means, at least one support web and a chamfering blade attached to the at least one web; squaring blade support means coaxial with said shaft and positionable longitudinally along the shaft and rotatable with the chamfering blade support means, and having affixed to it at least one squaring blade; and alignment means for aligning the shaft with the tube or pipe end.
