A tool (1; 101) for turning keys comprising a tool body (3; 103) having an elongate slot (4; 104) adapted to removably receive the head of a key (2; 102). The tool (1; 101) has an aperture (6; 106), by means of which a key ring (7; 107) is attached to the tool. The aperture may have a constriction to prevent the key ring sliding along its length, therefore preventing the key becoming accidentally engaged in the slot in someone's pocket. A second slot (5; 105) is provided, crossing the elongate slot (4; 104) and perpendicular to it, to accommodate the part of the key ring (7; 107) nearest to the key (2; 102). In addition to its use to turn a key (2; 102), the elongate slot (4; 104) may also be used to engage with the ring pull on a can, and the tool body used to lever the ring pull, opening the can.
Cette invention concerne un outil (1, 101) servant à faire tourner des clés et comprenant un corps (3, 103) d'outil muni d'une fente (4, 104) allongée conçue pour recevoir amovible la tête d'une clé (2, 102). Cet outil (1, 101) comporte une ouverture (6, 106) qui permet de fixer un anneau brisé (7, 107) à l'outil. Cette ouverture peut présenter un resserrement servant à empêcher l'anneau brisé de coulisser le long de sa longueur, ce qui permet d'éviter que la clé vienne s'insérer accidentellement dans la fente dans la poche d'un individu. Une seconde fente (5, 105) est prévue, laquelle vient croiser la fente (4, 104) allongée de manière qu'elles soient perpendiculaires l'une par rapport à l'autre, et sert à recevoir la partie de l'anneau brisé (7, 107) la plus proche de la clé (2, 102). Outre son utilisation pour faire tourner une clé (2, 102), la fente (4, 104) allongée peut également être utilisée pour venir en prise avec le couvercle déchirable d'une boîte, le corps de l'outil étant utilisé pour soulever le couvercle déchirable et de ce fait pour ouvrir la boîte.
