A tool holder (2), in particular for a measuring sensor (3), with an interface (5) to a spindle (1) of a machine tool is proposed. The tool holder (2) comprises, as seen from the interface (5) for the spindle (1), a material portion (6) which differs from the customary basic material of a tool holder (2) in a lower coefficient of linear expansion .alpha. and/or in a lower heat conductivity .lambda.. According to the invention, the material portion (6) affords thermal decoupling between the tool-side portion of the tool holder (2) and a tool (3) received therein from the tool spindle (1) for reducing a length change on account of an introduction of heat coming from a comparatively hot tool spindle.
L'invention concerne un porte-outil (2) notamment pour une sonde de mesure (3) présentant une interface (5) avec une broche (1) d'une machine-outil. Le porte-outil (2) comprend, vu de l'interface (5) avec la broche (1), une partie de matériau (6) qui se différencie du matériau de base usuel d'un porte-outil (2) par un coefficient de dilatation thermique linéaire a et/ou une conductibilité thermique ? inférieurs. Selon l'invention, la partie de matériau (6) forme une rupture thermique entre la partie côté outil du porte-outil (2) et l'outil (3) maintenu dans le porte-outil relativement à la broche (1), afin de réduire la dilatation linéaire dûe à la pénétration de la chaleur provenant de la broche qui est plus chaude.
