Disclosed is a releasable device for holding a tool in a holder, the tool for example being a hammer held in a hammer holder commonly used in the construction industry and having a loop loosely holding the hammer. The device is of flexible, stretchable material and has an aperture which may be pulled over a portion of the tool such as the hammer head to hold the tool to the holder. The device is secure to the loop of the hammer holder. Preferably, the device is a strip of flexible stretched material with an aperture and a series of holes and slits which permit the strap to be able to be looped around the hammer holder loop. The loop is releasably secured to a portion of the tool such as the head of the hammer.

Cette invention concerne un dispositif mobile servant à retenir un outil dans son support, l'outil étant par exemple un marteau placé dans un porte-marteau couramment utilisé dans l'industrie de la construction et prenant la forme d'un anneau dans lequel on glisse le manche du marteau. Le dispositif est en matériau souple, étirable et comporte une ouverture dans laquelle on peut faire passer une partie de l'outil, par exemple la tête de frappe d'un marteau, pour retenir celui-ci dans son support. Il se fixe à l'anneau du porte-marteau. De préférence, il s'agit d'une bande de matériau souple étirable comportant une ouverture et une série de trous et fentes permettant de l'enfiler ou de le boucler autour de l'anneau porte-outil qui reçoit en ajustement lâche une partie de l'outil, la tête du marteau par exemple.
