A toothbrush (10) includes a head (14) having multiple cleaning elements (18, 22). One group of the cleaning elements (18) is mounted on a movable portion (17) of the head (14) and another group (22) may be fixedly mounted on the head (14). The movable portion (17) of the head is attached by a flexible membrane (20) to the fixed portion (15) of the head so that the membrane (20) is capable of flexing to alter its original orientation during use of the toothbrush and then recover to the original orientation randomly during use.

Un des groupes d'éléments de nettoyage est monté sur une partie mobile de la tête et un autre groupe peut être monté de façon fixe sur la tête. La partie mobile de la tête est attachée à la partie fixe de la tête au moyen d'une membrane flexible de façon que la membrane puisse fléchir et changer son orientation d'origine lors de l'utilisation de la brosse à dents, puis retrouver aléatoirement son orientation originale lors de l'utilisation.
