The invention concerns a toothbrush comprising a head (10) arranged at the longitudinal front end of a handle (14) and provided, on its upper face, with a bunch of parallel filaments (18), and wherein the brush comprises a series of sticks (20) made of elastomer material each extending substantially parallel to the filaments and substantially arranged along two parallel rows on either side of the bunch of filaments. The invention is characterised in that each row of sticks (20) comprises high sticks (20a) arranged substantially longitudinal in the centre of the row and which are greater in length than the adjacent filaments (18), and low sticks (20d) arranged at the ends of the row and which are shorter than the adjacent filaments (18).
