The invention relates to toothbrushes of the kind as are discussed in EP 0557337B. The object of the invention is to provide an improved toothbrush which objective is met by a construction comprising a handle, a bristle head on the handle from which bristles extend, the bristles being supported by a bristle pad, the bristles being such that they are in close butting relationship with the sides of recess in which the bristle pad is sited, from which recess the bristles emerge, there being a supply line for fluid extending through the handle to the bristle head, said supply line having an outlet emerging directly in the bristles, there being a vacuum connection through the handle extending to the recess in which the bristle head is sited, and there being air vent means located on the handle and extending along the handle from a position in close proximity to the bristles, the air vent means having a number of inlet passageways in longitudinal spaced relationship along the length of the air vent means.
L'invention concerne des brosses à dents du type de celles décrites dans EP 0557337B. L'invention vise à fournir une brosse à dents améliorée caractérisée en ce qu'elle comprend un manche, une tête pourvue de poils se trouvant sur le manche de laquelle s'étendent les poils, les poils étant supportés par une plaquette. Les poils sont disposés de telle sorte qu'ils sont en aboutement avec les faces de l'évidement dans lequel est logée la plaquette. Les poils s'étendent de cet évidement, évidement d'où s'étend aussi un conduit d'alimentation pour fluide à travers le manche en direction de la tête, ledit conduit présentant une sortie qui aboutit directement dans les poils. A cet emplacement se trouve un raccordement sous vide traversant le manche et se prolongeant vers l'évidement dans lequel est placée la tête. Des moyens d'aération sont placés sur le manche et se prolongent le long du manche d'une position à proximité des poils. Ces moyens présentent une certain nombre d'entrées espacées les unes des autres dans le sens longitudinal sur toute la longueur des moyens d'aération.
